CVE-2025-8766: Noobaa-core: excessive permissions of /etc could lead to escalation of privilege in the noobaa-core container

A container privilege escalation flaw was found in certain Multi-Cloud Object Gateway Core images. This issue stems from the /etc/passwd file being created with group-writable permissions during build time. In certain conditions, an attacker who can execute commands within an affected container, even as a non-root user, can leverage their membership in the root group to modify the /etc/passwd file. This could allow the attacker to add a new user with any arbitrary UID, including UID 0, leading to full root privileges within the container

CVE-2025-71385: Netdata < 2.3.1 - Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via love Parameter in ilove.svg Endpoint

Netdata before 2.3.1 reflects the user-supplied love query parameter of the api/v2/ilove.svg and api/v3/ilove.svg endpoints verbatim into the generated SVG document (into a text element) without HTML or XML escaping, and serves the response with Content-Type image/svg+xml. An attacker can craft a URL such as /api/v2/ilove.svg?love=<script>...</script>; when a victim navigates to it the injected script executes in the victim browser in the origin of the Netdata instance (reflected cross-site scripting). These endpoints are registered with HTTP_ACL_NOCHECK and anonymous access and, because bearer-token protection is disabled by default, are reachable without authentication on a default Netdata agent. The issue was resolved by removing the ilove endpoint.

CVE-2025-34297: KissFFT Integer Overflow Heap Buffer Overflow via kiss_fft_alloc

KissFFT versions prior to the fix commit 1b083165 contain an integer overflow in kiss_fft_alloc() in kiss_fft.c on platforms where size_t is 32-bit. The nfft parameter is not validated before being used in a size calculation (sizeof(kiss_fft_cpx) * (nfft - 1)), which can wrap to a small value when nfft is large. As a result, malloc() allocates an undersized buffer and the subsequent twiddle-factor initialization loop writes nfft elements, causing a heap buffer overflow. This vulnerability only affects 32-bit architectures.

CVE-2025-34292: BeWelcome/Rox PHP Object Injection RCE

Rox, the software running BeWelcome, contains a PHP object injection vulnerability resulting from deserialization of untrusted data. User-controlled input is passed to PHP's unserialize(): the POST parameter `formkit_memory_recovery` in \\RoxPostHandler::getCallbackAction and the 'memory cookie' read by \\RoxModelBase::getMemoryCookie (bwRemember). (1) If present, `formkit_memory_recovery` is processed and passed to unserialize(), and (2) restore-from-memory functionality calls unserialize() on the bwRemember cookie value. Gadget chains present in Rox and bundled libraries enable exploitation of object injection to write arbitrary files or achieve remote code execution. Successful exploitation can lead to full site compromise. This vulnerability was remediated with commit c60bf04 (2025-06-16).

CVE-2025-34291: Langflow <= 1.6.9 CORS Misconfiguration to Token Hijack & RCE

Langflow versions up to and including 1.6.9 contain a chained vulnerability that enables account takeover and remote code execution. An overly permissive CORS configuration (allow_origins='*' with allow_credentials=True) combined with a refresh token cookie configured as SameSite=None allows a malicious webpage to perform cross-origin requests that include credentials and successfully call the refresh endpoint. An attacker-controlled origin can therefore obtain fresh access_token / refresh_token pairs for a victim session. Obtained tokens permit access to authenticated endpoints — including built-in code-execution functionality — allowing the attacker to execute arbitrary code and achieve full system compromise.
