fs/smb/client: fix out-of-bounds read in cifs_sanitize_prepath
When cifs_sanitize_prepath is called with an empty string or a string
containing only delimiters (e.g., "/"), the current logic attempts to
check *(cursor2 - 1) before cursor2 has advanced. This results in an
out-of-bounds read.
This patch adds an early exit check after stripping prepended
delimiters. If no path content remains, the function returns NULL.
The bug was identified via manual audit and verified using a
standalone test case compiled with AddressSanitizer, which
triggered a SEGV on affected inputs.

In versions 3.0.0a1 through 3.2.0 of Mistune, there is a ReDoS (Regular Expression Denial of Service) vulnerability in `LINK_TITLE_RE` that allows an attacker who can supply Markdown for parsing to cause denial of service. The regular expression used for parsing link titles contains overlapping alternatives that can trigger catastrophic backtracking. In both the double-quoted and single-quoted branches, a backslash followed by punctuation can be matched either as an escaped punctuation sequence or as two ordinary characters, creating an ambiguous pattern inside a repeated group. If an attacker supplies Markdown containing repeated ! sequences with no closing quote, the regex engine explores an exponential number of backtracking paths. This is reachable through normal Markdown parsing of inline links and block link reference definitions. A small crafted input can therefore cause significant CPU consumption and make applications using Mistune unresponsive.

Jupyter Server is the backend for Jupyter web applications. In versions 2.17.0 and earlier, the Origin header validation uses Python's re.match() to check incoming origins against the allow_origin_pat configuration value. Because re.match() only anchors at the start of the string and does not require a full match, a pattern intended to match only a trusted domain (e.g., trusted.example.com) will also match any origin that begins with that domain followed by additional characters (e.g., trusted.example.com.evil.com). An attacker who controls such a domain can bypass the CORS origin restriction and make cross-origin requests to the Jupyter Server API from an untrusted site. This issue has been fixed in version 2.18.0.

Diffusers is the a library for pretrained diffusion models. Prior to 0.38.0, a trust_remote_code bypass in DiffusionPipeline.from_pretrained allows arbitrary remote code execution despite the user passing trust_remote_code=False (or omitting it, which is the default). The vulnerability has three variants, all sharing the same root cause — the trust_remote_code gate was implemented inside DiffusionPipeline.download() rather than at the actual dynamic-module load site, so any code path that bypassed or short-circuited download() also bypassed the security check. DiffusionPipeline.from_pretrained('repoA', custom_pipeline='attacker/repoB', trust_remote_code=False) — the gate evaluated against repoA's file list rather than repoB's, so repoB's pipeline.py was loaded and executed. DiffusionPipeline.from_pretrained('/local/snapshot', custom_pipeline='attacker/repoB', trust_remote_code=False) — the local-path branch never invoked download(), so the gate was never reached and remote code from repoB executed. DiffusionPipeline.from_pretrained('/local/snapshot', trust_remote_code=False) where the snapshot contains custom component files (e.g. unet/my_unet_model.py) referenced from model_index.json — same root cause; the local path skipped download() and custom component code executed. selinux: fix overlayfs mmap() and mprotect() access checks
The existing SELinux security model for overlayfs is to allow access if
the current task is able to access the top level file (the "user" file)
and the mounter's credentials are sufficient to access the lower
level file (the "backing" file). Unfortunately, the current code does
not properly enforce these access controls for both mmap() and mprotect()
operations on overlayfs filesystems.
This patch makes use of the newly created security_mmap_backing_file()
LSM hook to provide the missing backing file enforcement for mmap()
operations, and leverages the backing file API and new LSM blob to
provide the necessary information to properly enforce the mprotect()
access controls.

RDMA/rxe: Fix double free in rxe_srq_from_init
In rxe_srq_from_init(), the queue pointer 'q' is assigned to

If copy_to_user() fails, the function calls rxe_queue_cleanup()

'srq->rq.queue'.
The caller of rxe_srq_from_init() (rxe_create_srq) eventually
calls rxe_srq_cleanup() upon receiving the error, which triggers
a second rxe_queue_cleanup() on the same memory, leading to a
double free.

A heap buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the DTLS handshake fragment reassembly logic of GnuTLS. The issue arises in merge_handshake_packet() where incoming handshake fragments are matched and merged based solely on handshake type, without validating that the message_length field remains consistent across all fragments of the same logical message. An attacker can exploit this by sending crafted DTLS fragments with conflicting message_length values, causing the implementation to allocate a buffer based on a smaller initial fragment and subsequently write beyond its bounds using larger, inconsistent fragments. Because the merge operation does not enforce proper bounds checking against the allocated buffer size, this results in an out-of-bounds write on the heap. The vulnerability is remotely exploitable without authentication via the DTLS handshake path and can lead to application crashes or potential memory corruption.

iommu/vt-d: Fix race condition during PASID entry replacement
The Intel VT-d PASID table entry is 512 bits (64 bytes). When replacing
an active PASID entry (e.g., during domain replacement), the current
implementation calculates a new entry on the stack and copies it to the
table using a single structure assignment.
struct pasid_entry *pte, new_pte;
pte = intel_pasid_get_entry(dev, pasid);
pasid_pte_config_first_level(iommu, &new_pte, ...);
*pte = new_pte;
Because the hardware may fetch the 512-bit PASID entry in multiple
128-bit chunks, updating the entire entry while it is active (Present
bit set) risks a "torn" read. In this scenario, the IOMMU hardware
could observe an inconsistent state — partially new data and partially
old data — leading to unpredictable behavior or spurious faults.
Fix this by removing the unsafe "replace" helpers and following the
"clear-then-update" flow, which ensures the Present bit is cleared and
the required invalidation handshake is completed before the new
configuration is applied.

In MLflow version 3.9.0, the MLflow Assistant feature introduced improper origin validation in its /ajax-api endpoints. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to exploit cross-origin requests from a malicious webpage to interact with the MLflow Assistant running on a victim's local machine. By bypassing the loopback-only restriction, the attacker can modify the Assistant's configuration to enable full access, which in turn allows the execution of arbitrary commands via the Claude Code sub-agent. This issue is resolved in version 3.10.0.

A vulnerability in MLflow versions <=3.10.1.dev0 allows unauthorized access to multipart upload (MPU) endpoints when the `--serve-artifacts` mode is enabled. The authorization logic does not enforce resource-level permission checks for `/mlflow-artifacts/mpu/*` endpoints, enabling attackers to overwrite artifacts belonging to other users. This can lead to unauthorized cross-user writes, model supply chain poisoning, and arbitrary code execution when compromised models are loaded. The issue is resolved in version 3.10.0.
