CVE-2026-24839: Dokploy has a clickjacking vulnerability - Missing X-Frame-Options and CSP frame-ancestors headers

Dokploy is a free, self-hostable Platform as a Service (PaaS). In versions prior to 0.26.6, the Dokploy web interface is vulnerable to Clickjacking attacks due to missing frame-busting headers. This allows attackers to embed Dokploy pages in malicious iframes and trick authenticated users into performing unintended actions. Version 0.26.6 patches the issue.

Security readout for executives and security teams

Plain-English summary

Dokploy before 0.26.6 can be embedded inside a malicious web page. If an authenticated user is tricked into interacting with that page, they may unknowingly perform actions in Dokploy. This is a medium-severity issue because it requires user interaction and primarily affects integrity, not data confidentiality or availability.

Executive priority

Schedule a routine but timely update for affected Dokploy instances, especially production or administrative environments. This is not presented as actively exploited, but it can enable unauthorized changes through user deception.

Technical view

CVE-2026-24839 is a CWE-1021 clickjacking issue in Dokploy web interface versions below 0.26.6. Missing X-Frame-Options and CSP frame-ancestors protections allow Dokploy pages to be framed by another site. CVSS 3.1 is 4.7: network reachable, low complexity, no attacker privileges, user interaction required, changed scope, low integrity impact.

Likely exposure

Organizations running self-hosted Dokploy versions earlier than 0.26.6 are affected. Risk is higher where authenticated Dokploy users can browse untrusted sites while logged in and the Dokploy interface is reachable from their browser.

Exploitation context

The source bundle does not show known active exploitation, and the CVE is not marked KEV. Exploitation requires convincing an authenticated Dokploy user to interact with attacker-controlled framed content. The likely outcome is unintended actions in the Dokploy interface, not direct data theft.

Researcher notes

Public evidence identifies the issue, affected version range, CVSS vector, CWE, and fix version. The bundle includes the GitHub advisory, pull request, and commit. It does not provide evidence of exploitation in the wild or additional affected products.

Mitigation direction

  • Upgrade Dokploy to version 0.26.6 or later.
  • Review the GitHub advisory and related fix for vendor-specific guidance.
  • Confirm deployed web responses include anti-framing protections after updating.

Validation and detection

  • Inventory Dokploy instances and record deployed versions.
  • Flag any Dokploy deployment below 0.26.6 as vulnerable.
  • Review HTTP responses for X-Frame-Options or CSP frame-ancestors protections.
  • Confirm the interface cannot be embedded in a cross-site frame after remediation.
