Security readout for executives and security teams
This flaw lets an unauthenticated attacker who can reach vCenter Server on HTTPS potentially run commands on the vCenter host. Because vCenter controls VMware infrastructure, compromise can threaten many dependent systems, not just one server. Organizations running affected VMware vCenter Server 7.x, 6.7, or 6.5, or VMware Cloud Foundation 4.x or 3.x, are exposed when vCenter port 443 is reachable by an attacker. Treat this as urgent. A vulnerable vCenter Server can become a high-impact entry point into virtual infrastructure, and CISA confirms exploitation in the wild. Mitigation focus: Upgrade vCenter Server to 7.0 U2b, 6.7 U3n, 6.5 U3p, or later.; Upgrade VMware Cloud Foundation to 4.2.1, 3.10.2.1, or later.; Restrict network access to vCenter port 443 to trusted administration paths..

These mappings and lookup hints may be relevant to the vulnerability behavior, CWE, affected product, or exposure path. Glexia-inferred context is not an official MITRE, ATT&CK, CWE, or CVE Program mapping.
ATT&CK lookup starting points
Use these exact CWE pages and searches to review the Glexia ATT&CK library from this CVE's weakness and description context.
CWE-20: Exact CWE lookup
Use the exact CWE identifier as the starting point before reviewing related ATT&CK behavior. Open the exact CWE lookup page first, then review the ATT&CK searches from that MITRE weakness context. This is a Glexia lookup hint, not an official ATT&CK mapping.
