An issue was discovered on Samsung Galaxy S3 i9305 4.4.4 devices. Security readout for executives and security teams

This Wi-Fi flaw affects Samsung Galaxy S3 i9305 Android 4.4.4 devices. A nearby attacker may be able to inject network packets by abusing how fragmented broadcast Wi-Fi frames are handled, regardless of the configured Wi-Fi security mode. Exposure appears limited to affected Samsung Galaxy S3 i9305 4.4.4 devices and similar FragAttacks-advised environments only where sources confirm applicability. Risk requires wireless proximity and continued use of legacy devices on trusted networks. Treat this as a legacy-device risk. Urgency is highest where affected phones still join corporate or operational Wi-Fi networks with access to sensitive internal services. Mitigation focus: Retire affected Samsung Galaxy S3 i9305 4.4.4 devices from trusted Wi-Fi networks.; Check Samsung and FragAttacks vendor guidance for any available firmware or configuration advice.; Segment legacy wireless clients away from sensitive systems and administrative services..
