Security readout for executives and security teams

This Oracle E-Business Suite iSupport flaw can let an unauthenticated attacker reach iSupport over HTTP and, with user interaction, gain access to critical service-request data or modify some data. The business concern is exposure of customer/support information and data integrity damage in EBS environments running affected iSupport versions. Exposure is limited to organizations running Oracle E-Business Suite with Oracle iSupport enabled on affected versions, especially where iSupport is reachable over HTTP from untrusted networks. The source bundle does not identify other products as directly affected. Treat this as high priority for affected EBS environments because unauthenticated network access and high confidentiality impact create meaningful business risk. Prioritize internet-facing or partner-facing iSupport deployments, then internal deployments handling sensitive service data. Mitigation focus: Identify all Oracle E-Business Suite instances running iSupport Service Requests.; Confirm whether versions fall within 12.1.1-12.1.3 or 12.2.3-12.2.8.; Follow Oracle July 2019 Critical Patch Update guidance for applicable systems..
