Security readout for executives and security teams

CVE-2019-2662 affects Oracle E-Business Suite Territory Management. An unauthenticated attacker reachable over HTTP could compromise the component if a separate user interaction occurs, exposing critical data and allowing some data changes. The business concern is loss of sensitive EBS data integrity and confidentiality. Exposure is likely limited to organizations running the listed Oracle E-Business Suite Territory Management versions, especially where HTTP access to EBS is available from untrusted networks. The bundle does not prove exposure for other Oracle products by themselves. Treat as high priority for any exposed or business-critical Oracle E-Business Suite deployment. Focus first on internet-reachable systems and environments storing sensitive customer, sales, or operational territory data. Mitigation focus: Review Oracle's April 2019 Critical Patch Update guidance for this CVE.; Apply vendor-recommended E-Business Suite fixes for affected Territory Management versions.; Restrict HTTP access to EBS from untrusted networks where feasible..
