Security readout for executives and security teams

This is a serious Oracle E-Business Suite CRM issue. An attacker reachable over HTTP does not need credentials, but needs user interaction. A successful attack could expose critical CRM data and allow some unauthorized data changes. No active exploitation is shown in the supplied sources or KEV status. Exposure is likely where affected Oracle E-Business Suite CRM Technical Foundation versions are deployed and reachable over HTTP. Internet-facing or broadly accessible EBS environments carry higher business risk, especially if CRM data is sensitive. Treat this as a high-priority remediation item for any affected E-Business Suite CRM deployment, especially external-facing systems. The main business concern is unauthorized access to critical CRM data and limited unauthorized data modification. Mitigation focus: Review Oracle April 2019 CPU guidance for CVE-2019-2639.; Patch or remediate affected E-Business Suite versions per Oracle guidance.; Restrict HTTP access to E-Business Suite where business requirements allow..
