Vulnerability in the Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System component of Oracle Retail Applications (subcomponent: Security). Supported versions that are affected are 13.2, 14.0 and 15.0. Easily "exploitable" vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System, attacks may significantly impact additional products. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System accessible data. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 6.1 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N).

Security readout for executives and security teams

This affects Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System versions 13.2, 14.0, and 15.0. An unauthenticated network attacker using HTTP could compromise confidentiality and integrity if a separate user interaction occurs. The issue can allow unauthorized reading and modification of some accessible warehouse-management data, with possible impact beyond the affected component because the CVSS scope is changed. Exposure is most likely where Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System 13.2, 14.0, or 15.0 is reachable over HTTP, especially from untrusted networks. The source bundle does not identify other affected versions or products. Treat as a moderate business risk. It does not indicate system-wide takeover or known active exploitation in the provided sources, but unauthenticated HTTP reachability and data integrity impact justify prompt verification and remediation. Mitigation focus: Review Oracle's April 2017 Critical Patch Update guidance for this product.; Apply applicable Oracle fixes for affected 13.2, 14.0, and 15.0 deployments.; Restrict HTTP access to trusted networks until remediation is confirmed..
