Supported versions that are affected are 12.1.3, 12.2.3, 12.2.4, 12.2.5 and 12.2.6. Easily "exploitable" vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle User Management. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in Oracle User Management, attacks may significantly impact additional products. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle User Management accessible data. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 4.7 (Integrity impacts). Security readout for executives and security teams

A flaw in Oracle E-Business Suite user management could let an outside attacker tamper with some user-management data if they can reach the service over HTTP and get another person to interact. The source does not describe data theft or outage, but unauthorized integrity changes in user management can matter operationally. Exposure is most likely where affected Oracle E-Business Suite versions are still running and User Management is reachable over HTTP from untrusted networks or broad internal segments. Treat as a scheduled remediation item for affected EBS environments, with higher priority if exposed to untrusted networks or supporting sensitive identity workflows. Mitigation focus: Inventory Oracle E-Business Suite versions and identify affected User Management deployments.; Review Oracle's April 2017 Critical Patch Update guidance for applicable EBS fixes.; Apply Oracle-recommended updates through the organization's normal EBS change process..
