Security readout for executives and security teams

This flaw affects Oracle Primavera Gateway and can let a highly privileged network attacker take over the Gateway through HTTP. The business risk is serious because successful compromise can affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and Oracle notes potential impact beyond the Gateway component. Exposure is likely limited to organizations running affected Oracle Primavera Gateway versions with HTTP network access available to privileged users or systems. Internet exposure is not stated in the sources, so validate actual routing, authentication paths, and internal network reachability. Prioritize remediation for any affected Primavera Gateway instance that is reachable over internal or external networks. Although high privileges are required, the potential result is full Gateway takeover with downstream product impact. Mitigation focus: Identify all Primavera Gateway deployments and versions.; Review Oracle April 2017 CPU guidance for this CVE.; Apply vendor-recommended updates or compensating controls..
