Security readout for executives and security teams

This moderate Oracle Hospitality e7 issue affects version 4.2.1. Someone with low-privileged logon access to the infrastructure running e7 could read some e7 data and change some records. It is not described as internet-exploitable, but it matters where hospitality systems are shared or weakly administered. Exposure is most likely in environments still running Oracle Hospitality e7 4.2.1, especially where many users or service accounts can log on to the infrastructure hosting e7. Treat as a targeted operational risk, not an internet-wide emergency. Prioritize if Oracle Hospitality e7 4.2.1 supports active hotel or food-service operations, stores sensitive business data, or has broad shared logon access. Mitigation focus: Identify any Oracle Hospitality e7 4.2.1 deployments.; Review Oracle's July 2017 Critical Patch Update guidance.; Apply vendor-provided fixes or upgrade guidance where available..
