Vulnerability in the Oracle Agile PLM component of Oracle Supply Chain Products Suite (subcomponent: Security). Supported versions that are affected are 9.3.5 and 9.3.6. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Agile PLM executes to compromise Oracle Agile PLM. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Agile PLM accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Agile PLM accessible data. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 3.4 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:L/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N).

Security readout for executives and security teams

This affects Oracle Agile PLM 9.3.5 and 9.3.6. An already high-privileged user with logon access to the infrastructure running Agile PLM could read some data and modify some data. The bar to exploit is high, but PLM environments may contain sensitive product and supply-chain data. Exposure is limited to organizations running Oracle Agile PLM Framework 9.3.5 or 9.3.6, especially where privileged infrastructure logons are broadly granted or poorly monitored. Handle through normal vulnerability management unless the affected PLM environment stores sensitive designs, supplier data, or regulated information. Prioritize if privileged infrastructure access is weakly controlled. Mitigation focus: Confirm whether Oracle Agile PLM 9.3.5 or 9.3.6 is deployed.; Review Oracle's July 2017 Critical Patch Update guidance for the Agile PLM issue.; Apply vendor-provided fixes or upgrade guidance where applicable..
