Vulnerability in the Oracle Agile PLM component of Oracle Supply Chain Products Suite (subcomponent: Security). Supported versions that are affected are 9.3.5 and 9.3.6. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Agile PLM. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in Oracle Agile PLM, attacks may significantly impact additional products. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Agile PLM accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Agile PLM accessible data. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 6.1 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N).

Security readout for executives and security teams

CVE-2017-10080 affects Oracle Agile PLM 9.3.5 and 9.3.6. An unauthenticated attacker who can reach the application over HTTP could alter some PLM data or read a subset of data if a separate user interacts with the attack. The issue affects confidentiality and integrity, not availability. Exposure is most relevant where Oracle Agile PLM 9.3.5 or 9.3.6 is reachable over HTTP, especially from untrusted networks or users who may interact with attacker-controlled content. Treat this as a moderate-priority legacy enterprise application risk. It can affect product lifecycle data integrity and confidentiality, but requires user interaction and has no cited active exploitation evidence in the provided sources. Mitigation focus: Identify any Oracle Agile PLM 9.3.5 or 9.3.6 deployments.; Review Oracle's July 2017 Critical Patch Update guidance for this CVE.; Apply vendor-supported remediation or upgrade guidance where applicable..
