Security readout for executives and security teams

This issue affects Oracle Siebel CRM 16.0 and 17.0. An unauthenticated attacker reachable over HTTP could compromise Siebel Core CRM if a separate user interaction occurs, potentially reading some CRM data and modifying some CRM records. Exposure is most likely where Oracle Siebel CRM 16.0 or 17.0 is reachable over HTTP, especially internet-facing or broadly accessible internal CRM portals. Treat this as a moderate-priority CRM data integrity and confidentiality risk. Prioritize systems holding sensitive customer or operational data, especially if reachable beyond tightly controlled networks. Mitigation focus: Identify Siebel CRM 16.0 and 17.0 deployments.; Check Oracle July 2017 CPU guidance for the applicable Siebel CRM fix.; Prioritize remediation for HTTP-accessible CRM systems..
